PEN. HEART. BESA.

Besa Kosova first heard the whisper of words before she could even name them. At six, she wrote her first poem—about peace. By eight, she had declared it to the stars and to herself: I will be a writer. Her earliest verses danced with hope and heartache—about Mother Teresa, about kindness, about a world stitched together by compassion. Even as a child, Besa dreamed not just in words, but in difference.

“I write so I can breathe,” she says—and you believe her, because each word she pens carries both oxygen and fire.

Her debut poetry collection, Raindrops, fell softly into the world in 2007. Since then, her voice has found many forms: from The Best of Albanian Cuisine, a heartfelt celebration of her homeland’s culinary heritage, to children's books and activity books that nurture literacy, cultural pride, and the audacity to dream.

Among her works are titles like 100 Ways to Make a Difference through Rotary and Papaya’s Way to Make a Difference—books that don’t just entertain children but empower them. Her mission has always been the same: to leave the world kinder, wiser, and more awake than she found it. You can find her books on Amazon, but their reach extends far beyond the page.

Yet the writer's path hasn’t always been gentle. As an adult, Besa began to see the world not only through the lens of wonder, but through the bruises of injustice—wars, inequality, the silencing of truth. When she tried to speak on behalf of the voiceless, she was often met with cruelty, backlash, and digital mobs. There were moments she tucked away her gift, folded her wings, afraid that the price of honesty might be too high.

But silence, she learned, was a prison. And her words—however trembled or bruised—were meant to fly.

“If I was given this gift,” she reflects, “then perhaps it is my calling to use it. Like a singer is born with a voice, or a painter with colors in their soul—I was born with words. Sometimes I look back on what I’ve written and think… Wow. Where did that come from?”

Even in fear, Besa felt the pull of her purpose. Could she really leave this life having never fully unwrapped the gift she was given?

No.

So she chose to dream forward—with bravery.

With this spirit, Hello Dream Press was born: a light in the dark, a place where words matter, where books are more than books—they are invitations. She hopes it becomes not just her dream realized, but a spark for others to unwrap their own gifts.

Because maybe, just maybe—

One Word. One Difference. One Person at a Time.

That is the revolution we need.

And now, through Hello Dream Press, those words won’t live only on pages, but on T-shirts, mugs, household items, and everyday keepsakes—each piece designed to carry a little hope, a little light, and a little dream into someone’s hands, home, or heart.

Because a dream worth sharing is a dream worth wearing.
